Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 October 2026  ·  Last reviewed: 25 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how VENTURABYTE ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit our website or use our apps and digital products. We keep this policy plain and specific, because we believe privacy documentation should be readable.

1. Who we are

VENTURABYTE is an independent software studio that designs and builds apps and digital tools intended to make everyday work easier. You can reach us at any time at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact details — such as your name and email address, when you email us or use a support or feedback channel.
  • Account details — if a product offers sign-in, the credentials and profile information you provide (for example, display name and preferences).
  • Content you create — data you store in our products (for example, schedules, invoices, or notes), which belongs to you.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — anonymous, aggregated statistics about features used, crash reports, and performance, used to keep products stable and improve them.
  • Device data — device model, operating system version, and language, used to deliver a working experience.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this website or inside our products.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and improve our apps and services;
  • To respond to support requests and feedback;
  • To keep products secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose crashes;
  • To meet legal obligations where applicable.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (operating the product you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and product improvement), consent (optional communications), and legal obligation (where retention or disclosure is required by law).

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run our products — for example hosting, crash reporting, and payment providers — and only to the extent needed for their role, under contracts that protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Account and content data are deleted when you close your account or after an extended period of inactivity, unless we must retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Delete your data or withdraw consent;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have mishandled your data, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Our products are intended for general audiences and are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we design our systems to minimize what could be exposed if something ever goes wrong.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Effective date" above and, for significant changes, notify you inside the affected product before the change takes effect.

11. Contact

Questions about privacy? Email [email protected] and we will respond.
